Summer is Best at Kartland!

Racing go-karts at Kartland Performance Indoor Raceway is great at any time of year, and we think summer might be the best time of all! Sure, you can brave the 110-degree heat if you’re up for it…but why not enjoy the excitement of racing in air-conditioned comfort? Here are some reasons we think go-karting is the best summer activity.

No Need to Check the Forecast

If you’re doing anything outside this summer, you have to make sure it’s not raining…or humid enough to make your hair curl. No weather worries at Kartland! Our always climate-controlled track will keep everyone comfortable the whole time, so ignore what the weatherman says and come on out.

We’re Affordable

It’s easy to spend a lot of money on summer activities like amusement parks, water parks, and even the movies. Once you add up parking, admission, food and drinks, and other add-ons – especially if you’re bringing a group – the cost can get pretty expensive! With Kartland’s group packages and special promotions, you can have a great outing that won’t break the bank.

Less Crowding

Most places have big crowds in the summer, so if you head to a beach, pool or park you can expect to have a lot of company. Kartland has a state of the art 50,000 square foot facility, so there’s plenty of room for everyone. And you don’t always have to plan ahead: with our popular Arrive and Drive option, spontaneous walk-in drivers can grab a kart on a first-come, first-served basis. You can also take advantage of our annual race licenses, for single or families.

Something for Everyone

Are you a first-timer looking to try something new, or a seasoned veteran of the tracks? Maybe your kids have spread out age-wise, and you want to make sure everyone feels safe. No worries, we have options for all skill levels! Kartland’s Junior Race segment is perfect for the youngest drivers, ages 6 and up, with karts that go up 25 miles an hour. Older kids and young adults (56 inches and taller) can check out our Youth Race experience, in karts that reach speeds of 35 miles per hour. Our adult karts have top speeds of almost 45 miles an hour, thanks to engines rated at about 18 horsepower. They’re some of the most powerful electric go-karts available! And if anyone wants to just hang out and watch the races, spectators get in for free. 

Always Exciting

You can only go to the pool so many times without getting bored. But racing at Kartland is unique every visit. You can set new goals to lower your race time or improve your technique, and you’ll be racing against different people and facing different situations each time.
